irque du Soleil returns to Australia with a spectacular new production for the whole family, presented under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top).
OVO is a headlong rush into a colourful eco-system teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement. The insects’ home is a world of biodiversity and beauty filled with noisy action and moments of quiet emotion.
When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives.
It’s love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye – and the feeling is mutual.
The cast of OVO is comprised of 54 performing artists from 16 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts. One highlight of OVO is the stunning flying trapeze act, in which six flyers soar 40 feet in the air, making this the biggest act of its kind to ever be presented under a big top by Cirque du Soleil. It combines many circus disciplines, including banquine, Russian swing and swinging chair. The finale features 20 artists running, jumping and leaping up a 24-foot vertical wall.
OVO is overflowing with contrasts. The hidden, secret world at our feet is revealed as tender and torrid, noisy and quiet, peaceful and chaotic. And as the sun rises on a bright new day, the vibrant cycle of insect life begins anew.

Morning Post : Kuwaiti And Proud

Today , I passed by the Australian Post to collect a parcel that I received a notification of via mail . The normal process is
1. You get a notification card via mail
2. You go to the post office
3. Give them your ID (Australian one)
This time it was different . My Australian ID is in Kuwait (I’ll talk about it later) . So I took my passport and my bank statement as a proof of address . So when the employee asked me for my address , I just took the passport out of my bag .. JUST took it out . He looked at me and said “ok I don’t need it .. Kuwaitis are always good . No need for verification” . It was one of those moments when you don’t know what to say , how to react .. And all you can do is .. Saying “Thank you” .

Quick Trip to Dubai .. Part 1
Published July 1, 2012 | It’s quite strange that I came all the way from Sydney to fly back again to Dubai .. To be honest , dubai seems like a regular city to me . I don know why all this fuzz about it . Seriously!!
The problem is that you go there to see more Kuwaitis than we Already have in Kuwait . How ironic!!
I won’t be talking about Dubai cuz lots of specialized ppl already did so and I’m no specialist .. You probably want to check AMAtraveler blog for any travel-related posts.
My flight was on 6:55 am , I went to the airport at 5 am .. The airport was super jammed . 3 aljazzerra airways flights checking-in a the same time .. The flights were , to Egypt , Syria and Dubai .. So you can imagine how jammed was it . People fighting , crossing the queue … It was a mess . However , I went to ask one of aljazeera’s employees to give us a priority as our flight is within an hour. He opened a special queue for us and I called two Kuwaiti families to join me. Everything went ok ….

Published June 12, 2012 | As a gold member of Etihad Airways . I have to say , this idea is amazing. I’ll explain it in a brief then I will write the exact email that I received from them
Let’s say that you have booked your Economy ticket . However , there are vacant places in the Business class . The old system was , you have to pay the full upgrading amount either by cash or miles . This new idea is kinda same but but but instead of paying the full amount , you make a bid .
A BID!!!!
Yes a bid . Let’s say that you are able to pay 250 KWD more to get the Business class , and the actual price suppose to be 600 for example . If no one made a higher bid , then it is yours .
I just loved the idea .
